Officials announced the list in a news conference.
Authorities say that the new defendants are wanted on charges of aggravated assault, manslaughter and child molestation.
About 90 days ago, authorities apprehended 14 of the most wanted from the first quarter. Chairman of the Board for Macon Regional Crimestoppers Warren Selby says 10 of the 14 apprehended were from citizens offering tips.
Selby also says that authorities apprehended 3 of the new 15 most wanted. He says that due to the Crimestoppers Top 15 Most Wanted list, crime is down in Middle Georgia.
“We’re hopeful that through the media publicizing this information and the community coming forward that we will have those removed very shortly. This makes it a safer place to live work and play,” Selby said.
In the last 90 days, Crimestoppers paid citizens more than $7,000 to come forward with information on the top 15 fugitives.
