Added holiday for Macon-Bibb employees

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon-Bibb County employees will have an extra paid holiday added to their calendar this year.

Commissioners approved July 5th as a holiday, so employees can have a four-day weekend.

This is a one time amendment for 2019.

In her spare time, Tanya is a sports fanatic, so even though the Chicago Bears and Bulls didn’t know how to win this season, she still roots for them.
