Daybreak Interview – “But Momma, I Love Him”


MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men have been victims of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime.

This weekend, S&S Productions is presenting a play that talks about this serious subject. It’s called, “But Momma, I love Him.”

Tauren and Cassie Simmons, the play’s producers, visited Daybreak to tell us more about it.

You can see “But Momma, I love Him,” Saturday June 29th at 6 p.m. at the Douglas Theatre, 355 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Macon. Tickets are between $25 and $35. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online:
