Two candidates running for Perry mayor

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The qualifying round for Perry’s mayoral race is over.

According to Houston County Board of Elections, Mayor Pro Tem Randall Walker and Robbin Jackson are in the running for mayor of Perry.

Perry’s special election comes after the former mayor, Jimmy Faircloth, resigned for personal reasons.

The election happens on September 17th.
