Macon-Bibb Commissioner Bert Bivins isn’t seeking re-election

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon-Bibb commissioner says he won’t seek re-election next year.

Through the years, Bert Bivins served as commissioner for District 5.

“I would like to thank my community and my supporters throughout the years,” Bivins said.

Bivins says he plans to explore new endeavors.
