WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County Bears are hosting the Peach County Trojans Friday in week four of the End Zone’s Game of the Week.

It’s the battle of the unbeaten’s.

Houston County is off to its best start in its last three seasons. The Bears finished with a 2-8 record in 2017 and 2018, but have already surpassed that win total with a 3-0 start to the season.

Houston County’s running up the scoreboard on its opponents, scoring 40 points per game.

The Trojans come in with a 2-0 record. Their confidence level has to be at an all-time high after beating Lee County – the No.1-ranked team in Region 6A – 40-17, last Friday.

Houston County head football coach Ryan Crawford and Peach County head football coach Chad Campbell both spoke about the upcoming game.

“There’s going to be some great challenges Friday night,” said Crawford. “A lot of great players to go against, and we’ll be challenged and spaced to make plays.

“The biggest thing about defense is, you know, you’re going to give up plays, when you give up plays, get them on the ground, make them snap it again, and make people drive the football. Don’t give up the big play, the home run.”

“We have to play good in all facets of the game,” said Campbell. “We have to protect the football. Can’t turn the ball over. You have to do your normal things to be successful. You have to block, tackle, run, catch. I mean, they’re a really good football team, so we’ll have to play very well.”
