MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT) – A weather disturbance causing showers across Middle Georgia on Monday morning will move away this afternoon and slightly drier air works in overnight.

Showers will be ending by the early afternoon, but we will be mostly cloudy today with temperatures topping out in the upper 50’s and lower 60’s. Overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning, high pressure builds in and that will lead to a mostly clear night. Temperatures will be falling into the middle to upper 30’s.

We’re mostly sunny tomorrow with temperatures topping out in the low to middle 60’s. Dry air is temporary as clouds begin to roll in late tomorrow evening. Temperatures tomorrow night will be running in the upper 30’s and lower 40’s.

A low pressure along the Gulf Coast on Wednesday will spread showers into Middle Georgia. Showers are expected to be light with minimal accumulation. Thursday is dry before rain returns again on Friday and Saturday.
