$16 million in SPLOST money funds various Macon-Bibb projects

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – More than $16 million of appropriated Macon-Bibb SPLOST proceeds are being divided among several projects.

Commissioners say the $16 million came from 2016-2018 SPLOST dollars.

What projects will the money fund?

Now, the money provides funding for the following SPLOST: 

  • Fire department equipment upgrades
  • The Bass Road expansion
  • Stormwater improvements
  • Security upgrades for the Government Center
