The non-profit has adoptable animals that need supplies for their facility. You can donate supplies to them directly or visit their website to make a donation.

Humane Society of Houston County needs

  • Little Cesar’s or Pedigree canned puppy food
  • Cat and kitten food
  • Puppy pads
  • Laundry detergent
  • Clorox
  • Paper towels
  • Tall kitchen garbage bags
  • Clumping cat litter
  • Bottled water

Dee Allison — director of the Humane Society of Houston County— says as a non-profit, they depend on donations.

“We don’t get a check from anybody else so it’s out of the goodness of everybody’s heart that we get things,” said Allison.

Allison says they also need volunteers to collect laundry from their front porch, wash the items and return them. You can collect a bag at their facility at 810 Carl Vinson Parkway.
