UPDATE: Bibb deputies charge woman in east Macon homicide

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman faces murder charges in the stabbing death of a man during a domestic dispute Wednesday.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office charged 51-year-old Sheldon McCoy with the murder of her boyfriend 62-year-old Mark Green.

Deputies say it happened around 4:45 at McAfee Towers on Gray Highway.

Deputies say they were told 51-year-old Sheldon McCoy and her boyfriend, 62-year-old Mark Green, who lived together, got into an argument, and Green was stabbed with a knife.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. McCoy is being interviewed by investigators.

McAfee Towers is a Senior Living Site, according to the Macon Housing Authority’s website.
